a sudden and unexpectedly fierce desire to thank my sister anna for being so awesome and supportive always.. and especially about me and my blog..really..its not that great i know..though i like to think it is..*very-much*..

and the very bestest sister in the world!! :) couldn't have asked for anyone better!! and i do not use the mentioned-non-existent-word for just anyone..

and yes, also because...atleast i dont write about breakfast and cereal (havent till now..)..and i dont have a sibling who thinks blogging is a retarded thing to do.. :) uh kenny?? :)

yea, i cant believe it .. a week and 2 days..

you see..i made this vow promise/uh-resolution not to tie my hair since i cut it (18th of june remember?? )..and you know..NOT tie/knot/bun-ch it up as in..just let it be..a nice little mess of unruly cute curls (thats my version of how it looks..clinton called it my afro..ahh!!)
 so yes..i have lasted ONLY a week and today was just too stuffy and humid  a day to let it curl around my neck like a furry weasel on a winters day..yuck seriously..and sticky..soo..i tied it! :(

cant believe myself..

but i have told dad i should go trim it again to make it *pretty-much-perfectissimo* and he said yes..when he is free next..
hope that day comes soon..like you know this week?..

or i'll just go myself..~a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!~

Today i went to check the results of the 1st year of Pharmacy Exam that i answered this april and yes, as the previous information i recieved from a friend who had checked earlier..so technically i have, in her words "passed!" with 69.18% ..hmmm..quite good huh??..considering i was in the "oh-no-this-is-not-for-me" phase..so..yes..i am happy..for a non interested attempt at that exam. i think i've done quite well..

enough of that..the next nteresting thing about today was that my sewing spree continues..i re-did my old jeans that had been discarded since they had a tear. and now they're reinvented into a comfy pair of awesome shorts i cant wait to try out :) ..wanna see??

..crazy that i used the same cloth that the previous purse/clutch/pouch/whatever-you-wanna-call-it from the previous post!! :) its such a cute stripey material.!!!

I've been busy these last few days..catching up on a lot of stuff. My college is reopening this friday, so i seem to be in a frantic race to complete my things-to-do lists and try to cram every possible fun thing i can into these very last days that i have.

And yes, i have been using these days quite productively too, as you can see--

1) I have learnt to drive..can do it pretty well except under paternal supervision (it drives me up the wall)

2) I have borrowed a mandolin from a slightly eccentric friend of mine (who has too many instuments to be able to give all of them sufficient attention..no offence reuben..but its true) and have learnt to play many peices albeit making a few mistakes but pretty well too..see for example can stumble through the notes of the below piece without a lot of pitstops.

3)have learnt to sew..actually i can ok?..i just had a major accomplishment today since i managed to work the sewing machine! that my mum uses..was pretty grand i can tell you. So the result were amazing. i read about making this bag on someone's blog today..and with a little help from mum..viola!..here's what i got!..

see?..someone's been making pretty good use of her vacations!! yay me!! :)
