Don Bosco's Relics are on a worldwide pilgrimage, and it was finally our turn- the Salesians of the Konkan Province to host the celebrations..
I'm a past pupils of Don Bosco..so that made me,yours truly--Royalty..Atleast that's how i felt..
Going along with the motorcade to escort the Relics with a lot of other cars made it really really special and solemn.

my car- all ready with the banners, stickers and flags..sorry to say i wasn't qualified to drive..much to the disappointment of the rest :P
Awesome scenery's along the highways of the Western Ghats. An overdose of the color green- no i am not complaining..trees everywhere..the height of the monsoons..good roads in some places..horribly bumpy in others..
Along with the motorcade..all of us..despite the pouring rain..we see crowds of devotees gathering along the highways to catch a glimpse..a blessing from the beloved Saint, the Father of young people..
AND, finally He came to our very own complex-- Don Boscos, Panjim where students, youngsters, past pupils, teachers, parents, religious sisters, brothers and fathers waited patiently..cheering wildly as the convoy arrived they all followed into the oratory where the Relics remained for public veneration from the 18th to the 21st of August..
