I think you can imagine driving through rain..but have you ever experienced the sheer wonder and joy you feel when you're straight driving into a sort of solid sheet of rain coming towards you from afar?
Thats just what happened in yesterdays driving class. We ( me driving and instructor sitting beside me) had finished our detour to GMC and back on the highway and were driving towards Dona Paula- Caranzalem when the sky became dark with rain clouds..it was obvious that it had already begun raining really heavily in Panjim and Miramar..and the showers were advancing towards us faster than we were driving towards it..
The next few minutes were amazing, i could see the grey blur of approaching rain advancing in the front and the clarity of my surroundings in contrast to that..(something like a fantasy movie :P ) ..and suddenly before i knew it i drove staright throught the blurry sheet and the noise on the roof of the car was tremendous..we were surrounded by heavy rain.on all sides..it was truly out of this world..
a perfect example of the wonders of creation..special things that my Lord shows me everyday..yup..will definitely treasure this experience :)
